The raw material of silicone, silica, does not contain the same type of chemical found in petroleum-placed plastics. While harsh chemicals( e.g. BPA, BPS, PVC and Phthalates) are not found in silicone, we take it as a win.
Sileco reusable storage bags are made of 100% pure food-grade silicone. Sileco products are safe for food because they are entirely free from BPA, BPS, PVC, Phthalates or any other toxic chemicals or fillers.

Silicone is not biodegradable, and because it's more resistant to heat, it may even take longer than plastic to break down naturally if it ends up in a landfill. Although silicone isn't biodegradable, it can be recycled.

- Leave the seal open when using the microwaves or cooking over a pot of boiling water. Be cautious of hot contents after heating.
- To ensure the bag stays sealed, press firmly and squeeze excess air from the pouch.
- Keep away from sharp objects to avoid puncturing the bag.
- Remember to clean after use to avoid staining.
- Use soda power and vinegar to make a paste over the surface of Sileco and wash the grease off the bag.
- We highly recommend hand-washing with a soft sponge using detergent in warm water.
- Hang the bag upside down over a drying rack for drying after washing.
Shipping & Order
We process online orders within the next business day. Once your order is packed and dispatched, you will receive a notification with a tracking number so you can track the progress of your order.
We offer free standard shipping to arrive in 3–8 business days on orders over $75. For orders below $75, there will be a $10 shipping fee.

Due to COVID-19, Sendle or Australia Post's delivery service will not require a signature and will only deliver with Authority to Leave (ATL) by default. For this reason, the courier will not require you to sign for your order. Your order may be left in a safe place, ready and waiting for you.
If you do not want the courier to leave your order in a safe place when you are not there to receive it, please ensure you provide clear instructions in the notes field when placing your online order with Sileco.
Orders are generally shipped out within 1-2 business days, so contact us immediately should you want to cancel your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If a cancellation occurs after the order ships, we will not be able to reverse the shipment.
Return
Inspect your items immediately upon receipt. They must be reported within 14 days upon receipt for damage, defect or shortage claims.
Contact hello@sileco.com.au with the order name, order reference and photos as evidence if applicable.
Customer return shipping fees will only be refunded if the item is faulty.
We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged by your courier in transit. We recommend you keep a copy of your courier tracking number for your follow-up.
The returns process must be initiated within 30 days of receipt. Please allow 7- 14 days to process your refund and record to appear in your credit card statement.
Refund will be issued within 1-2 weeks once your return is received in original packaging in a sellable condition and a proof of purchase, e.g. invoice in the package.
Sileco only accepts returns for purchases made on sileco.com.au. For this reason, please provide proof of receipt. For orders placed with other retailers, returns can only be authorised and processed with those retailers.
